Taking Time to Wander

Last month, I came downstairs from getting ready for the day. I had had an epiphany of sorts. I told Stephen that we were going to go wander and take some pictures of and for ourselves. “Besides,” I added, “it’s kind of ridiculous that I don’t even have a picture of myself on my site.” That wasn’t entirely accurate. I did have a picture. It just wasn’t a particularly great one. I had taken it myself and my arms are only so long. Self portraits are not my strong point. We had taken some pictures of each other while we were in New Orleans in January, but it wasn’t quite what I was looking for. That’s not really to say that I knew what I was looking for. I just knew that we needed to take some time to wander and find whatever that was.

These are us from that day. We started at Roswell Mill and ended up in Lawrenceville. I think we found what we were looking for in our wandering for that Sunday.
