I had every expectation of having a perfectly lazy day today. The kind of lazy day where I was just going to stay in pajamas, lounge around with my favourite kittens, and call it a day. Fall allergies haven’t exactly been kind to me, so I figured it was justified. Then my mom called. She was having an ordeal. Nothing major by any means, but she was stressed enough that I told her to just come on up. I couldn’t be happier that I did because today turned out to be exactly what I needed after all.
And this? It may be a really awkward close up, but to me, it’s my favourite mom and her favourite youngest child and I couldn’t ask for anything better.
