There is truly nothing about this family session that I don’t love. Rather than spending the day after Thanksgiving in the chaos and madness that is typically Black Friday, we spent the afternoon with AnnMarie, Joey, Christian, and Anna at Stone Mountain Park where they had taken their annual camping trip for Thanksgiving. Even though the weather had been erratic, we were thankful to have a spectacularly beautiful day. Add in that it was Joey and AnnMarie’s 10th wedding anniversary, and that makes it even more special.
This was our last session for 2013, and I can’t think of a better way to wrap up a fantastic year than with this family session. It’s a wonderful thing getting to photograph a family that I’ve known for years and has always made me feel like I’m a part of their family too.
